RobotMakers: Start Making Sense!

Now your child can build & code a collection of robots that use sensors to make sense of what they encounter in the world around them…. and respond with good sense to what they’ve encountered. They’ll animate Robotic Snakes, Watchful Security Systems & more, discovering big dun as they engineer, program and “road test” these are appropriate robotics projects.

  • Dates: Mondays, 9/30/24 to 11/18/24 ( No Lab 10/14/24)
  • Time: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
  • Grades: PreK-1st Grade
  • Tuition: $225.00

GameMakers: First Encounters!

Now, your child can move from passive user to active creator of their own interactive, animated stories & video games. They’ll be using the age-appropriate Scratch, Jr. coding language as they explore the essential elements of story & game design.

  • Dates: Mondays, 9/30/24 to 11/18/24 ( No Lab 10/14/24)
  • Time: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Grades: Kindergarten–2nd Grade

Unlock the secret code to fun when your child joins us to make the most of their Minecraft skills! During each lab, children will use Minecraft Education to code their they’ll discover new concepts & skills they’ll need in their virtual world (and this one)!!

  • Dates: Wednesdays, 10/2/24 to 11/13/24
  • Time: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Grades: 3rd–5th Grade
  • Tuition: $225.00

Your child & their lab mates can make motors move, gears whir & sensors react when they take control of building & coding their own mobile, sensing robots! Using the LEGO EV3 robotics system & an age-appropriate coding language, they’ll discover the basics needed to transform their ideas into sensor-driven robotic creations on the go!

  • Dates: Thursdays, 10/3/24 to 12/5/24 ( No Lab 10/31, 11/7, 11/28)
  • Time: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Grades: 3rd-5th Grade
  • Tuition: $225.00

DesignMakers: Be a 3D Animator!

Get drawn into the fun of creating your own animated cartoons! Participants will use the digital art tool Krita to develop the new skills they will need to make their moving, talking cartoons. Each lab will bring new opportunities to practice their skills and learn new techniques, all so they can draw their stories to life!

  • Dates: Fridays, 10/4/24 to 11/22/24 (No Lab 11/8)
  • Time: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Grades: 3rd-5th Grade
  • Tuition: $225.00
