Your child can be an inventor! Utilizing the LittleBits electronic invention system, kids will design and create useful digital inventions. Once they have their inventions finished, they’ll have the opportunity to “pitch” them Shark Tank-style to their fellow lab mates!
Animate your child’s fun as they uncover the skills needed to bring inanimate objects to life! Your child will be creating their own series of digital stop-animation videos using a range of materials, including themselves, capturing series of still digital pictures and setting them into motion.
Now your child can deploy NXT Generation mobile robotic technology to create robots that use a range of sensors (touch, hear, see, etc.) to engage & interact with their environment & each other! Paired with a “flavor” of the age-appropriate Scratch programming language created at MIT’s Media Lab, your child can develop their critical thinking and STEAM skills as the build & code these engaging bots.
Your child will be engaged in designing & coding a range of basic adventure-style video games, including inventing their own customized characters, new worlds of mazes and awesome challenges for their avatars.
