Registration NOW OPEN for Fall 2024 After-school Labs
This term, we will be offering the following programs! Program information, including ages, prices and descriptions can be found below. If you register additional siblings, a 10% discount will be applied for each additional brother and/or sister when we process your credit card.
RobotMakers: Start Making Sense!
Now your child can build & code a collection of robots that use sensors to make sense of what they encounter in the world around them…. and respond with good sense to what they’ve encountered. They’ll animate Robotic Snakes, Watchful Security Systems & more, discovering big dun as they engineer, program and “road test” these are appropriate robotics projects.
- Dates: Wednesdays, 2/8/23 to 3/29/22 (No Lab 02/22)
- Time: 5:00 pm – 6:10 pm
- Grades: K-2nd Grade

GameMakers: First Encounters!
Now, your child can move from passive user to active creator of their own interactive, animated stories & video games. They’ll be using the age-appropriate Scratch, Jr. coding language as they explore the essential elements of story & game design.

- Time: 5:00 pm – 6:10 pm
- Grades: Kindergarten–2nd Grade

DesignMakers: Makin' Marvelous Comics!
Your child will marvel at how they can fire up their imagination as they discover how to create their very own virtual comics! They’ll unleash the power of the popular Krita graphic-design software to develop new ways to power-up their digital story-telling skills. Each lab session presents new opportunities for students of all ability levels to craft their own unique characters, design worlds, and create their own digital art comic strips!
- Dates: Mondays, 2/6/23 to 3/27/22 (No Lab 02/20)
- Time: 5:00 pm – 6:10 pm
- Grades: 3rd-5th Grade
- Tuition: $215.00
WebDevelopers: Internet Rockstars!
Your child can open the world of website creation for themselves, discovering the coding know-how they’ll need to build a website for their favorite team, band, or show! Using Glitch software and their own imaginations, kids in 3rd-5th and 6th-8th grades will use CSS, HTML, and more to develop a functional website for all to see!
- Dates: Tuesdays, 2/7/23 to 3/28/23 (no lab on 2/21)
- Time: 5:00 pm – 6:10 pm
- Grades: 3rd–5th Grade

Your child & their lab mates can make motors move, gears whir & sensors react when they take control of building & coding their own mobile, sensing robots! Using the LEGO EV3 robotics system & an age-appropriate coding language, they’ll discover the basics needed to transform their ideas into sensor-driven robotic creations on the go!
