RobotMakers: Robots Coming to Their Senses!

Creating robots that interact with their environments is what’s in store for your child when they engage this challenging series of projects that deploy sensors, along with the related engineering concepts & coding needed to animate ‘bots that make sense of the world.

  • Dates: Wednesdays, 2/26/20 to 4/15/20 (no lab 4/8)
  • Time: 5:00 pm – 6:10 pm
  • Grades: Pre -K to 1st Grade
  • Tuition: $175.00

InventionMakers: Everyday Inventions!

Your child can be an inventor! Utilizing the LittleBits electronic invention system, kids will design and create useful digital inventions. Once they have their inventions finished, they’ll have the opportunity to “pitch” them Shark Tank-style to their fellow lab mates!

  • Dates: Tuesdays, 2/25/20 to 4/14/20 (No class on 4/7)
  • Time: 5:00 pm – 6:10 pm
  • Grades: K-2nd Grade
  • Tuition: $175.00

InventionMakers: Everyday Inventions!

Now your child can deploy NXT Generation mobile robotic technology to create robots that use a range of sensors (touch, hear, see, etc.)  to engage & interact with their environment & each other! Paired with a “flavor” of the age-appropriate Scratch programming language created at MIT’s Media Lab, your child can develop their critical thinking and STEAM skills as the build & code these engaging bots.

  • Dates: Wednesdays, 2/26/20 to 4/15/20 (no lab 4/8)
