This is your school’s official page, where you can find all the information (dates, times, off-days, etc.) about the programs being offered right in your school!
To sign up for a program, start by finding your child’s program of interest, click register and a registration form will open! This registration form will allow you to select additional programs as well as add multiple children.

Afterschool Labs @ Academy of Our Lady
Update for This Term: While we’re not currently scheduled to be at your school this term, no need to wait! Your child & their friends can join us for afterschool labs @ our nearby Ridgewood campus (see below). . . or you can schedule a Have Your Own Lab program for your child and their friends. This term, we will be offering the following programs! Program information, including ages, prices and descriptions can be found below. If you register additional siblings, a 10% discount will be applied for each additional brother and/or sister when we process your credit card.
InventionMakers: Everyday Inventions!
Your child can be an inventor! Utilizing the LittleBits electronic invention system, kids will design and create useful digital inventions. Once they have their inventions finished, they’ll have the opportunity to “pitch” them Shark Tank-style to their fellow lab mates!
- Dates: Mondays, 10/17/22 to 12/12/22 (no lab 10/31, 11/22)
- Time: 5:00 pm – 6:10 pm
- Grades: Kindergarten-2nd Grade
- Tuition: $199.00
RobotMakers: Robots Rebooted!
Your child will put real fun into action, advancing their STEM skills while building & coding a range of moving, spinning robotic devices. . . bringing motors to life. . . setting wheels & gears into action… and more while they become familiar with both the programming language & engineering know-how they’ll need to complete each project.
- Dates: Wednesdays, 10/19/22 to 12/14/22 (No Lab: 11/8, 11/23)

GameMakers: Junior Game Developers
Put your 1st or 2nd grader in control of bringing their imagination to digital life as they create characters & worlds for their own series of interactive video games, all while developing their coding and critical-thinking skills with the age-appropriate Scratch Jr. coding language developed at MIT’s Media Lab.!

WebDeveloper: Let's Get Graphic!
Now, your child and their classmates can design their own graphical fun! Let’s Get Graphic! puts the power of the Crita graphic-design software in your child’s hands as they discover new ways of communicating online through the creation of their own digital art. Each lab session will present new opportunities for students of all ability levels to advance their graphical design skills as they create digital sketches, memes and more!
- Dates: Tuesdays, 10/18/22 to 12/6/22
- Time: 5:00 pm – 6:10 pm
- Grades: 3rd–5th Grade
- Tuition: $199.00
RobotMakers: Start Making Moves!
Your child & their lab mates can make motors move, gears whir & sensors react when they take control of building & coding their own mobile, sensing robots! Using the LEGO EV3 robotics system & an age-appropriate coding language, they’ll discover the basics needed to transform their ideas into sensor-driven robotic creations on the go!

GameMakers: Classic Platformers!
Here’s where your child can design & code their own basic platform-style video game, including creating a character’s world, inventing their challengers and providing the power-ups they’ll need to take it to the next level.
